“Dress to Impress: IRL” is a fashion convention where participants can use augmented reality (AR) to compete in a fashion show inspired by Roblox’s Dress to Impress (DTI). The location is near Roblox Headquarters in San Mateo’s County Event Center. The current Dress to Impress branding is dated. Although its inception was late 2023, its branding is reminiscent of early 2000s flash games. Altering the current look would also differentiate from its competitors. Furthermore, the event aims to make Roblox’s entity more social and interactive. Given the popularity of “Dress to Impress,” the game should expand its appeal by incorporating more social features and interactive technology that engage ethusiastic players of all ages.
