The purpose of this brochure was to present an artist and their work through an alluring and effective design spread. This was to be achieved through use of rhythm and harmony. Harmony is executed through consistent use of color on each page. There is a similar texture featured through the brochure, establishing a consistent form. Rhythm is created by breaking some of the steadiness presented in the design. For example, the format and grid is altered to change the viewer’s expectations between each page. Scale is also modified in the artist’s images. By changing the size, there is variety in the brochure and the contrast creates visual interest.
